local business owner. Jane is one of the founders of ‘Dirty Janes’, where she is currently Managing Director.
Jane is also an author and the mother of three children – all of whom have gone through Oxley, with her
eldest daughter now in Year 12. Mrs Crowley’s association began with Oxley in 2012 when the Junior
School opened.
“Oxley College is a wonderful school supported by an amazing community. It’s a great honour to be
appointed as the first female Chair of the Board. Thanks go to Dr Stephen Barnett for his 12 years on the
Board and last four years as Chair.” says Mrs Crowley
Mrs Crowley will replace Dr Stephen Barnett, who started his association with the College as a student,
graduating in 1990.
“Stephen has been a remarkable Chair and we are grateful for his dedicated service to Oxley College over
the last 12 years and especially his guidance working with me, over the last 12 months,” shares the Head
of College Mr Scott Bedingfield. “I am so looking forward to working with Jane in her new role as Chair, we
have many exciting projects underway for the benefit of our students. “
Expressing her enthusiasm for assuming the role, Jane Crowley remarked, “I am deeply honoured to take
on this responsibility. There are many innovative programs and infrastructure planned for Oxley College
and I am looking forward to working with the Board and College Executive, to guide these projects to
completion. Keeping Oxley College, as a coeducational, non-denominational P-12 school at the forefront of
education is my goal.”
Mrs Crowley has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Canberra University where she majored in
Organisational Communication and her many strengths include organisational management, charitable
activities and community engagement work.
