Scholarships

Oxley College 2019 Academic Scholarship Programme 

Scholarships will be available for students entering Year 7 and Year 11 in 2019. The percentage of these scholarships are flexible and will be determined by the College.

Junior Academic Scholarships

Junior Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7 in 2019.

There will be up to the equivalent of two full Junior Scholarships for the remission of tuition fees for Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 (this will be reviewed annually).   A maximum of one scholarship will go to a current Oxley student.

Senior Academic Scholarships

Senior Scholarships are available for students entering Year 11 in 2019. Two full Senior Scholarships for the remission of tuition fees will be available for Year 11 and Year 12 (this will be reviewed annually).

One Senior Scholarship will be awarded to the Oxley College Dux of Year 10, 2018. One Senior Scholarship will be awarded to a non-Oxley College student if they are of a standard commensurate with the Oxley College Dux of Year 10.

ACADEMIC scholarships are awarded principally on the results of the Academic Assessment Services Scholarship Testing Programme. Candidates will sit for these tests at the College on Saturday 17 February 2018.

Oxley College is offering online registrations. An interview for short listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships.  The College also requires copies of NAPLAN results and the student’s last two school reports.

Closing date for lodging registration for the Oxley College AAS Academic Scholarship is Monday 12 February 2018.

Applications after this date will attract a late fee.

Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday 17 March 2018.  There will be an interview panel of two members of Oxley College’s Executive.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Scholarship holder will be expected to participate fully in the life of the College and to exhibit the high standards embodied in its award.
  • The Scholarship offers a remission of tuition fees only. All other fees and charges remain payable.
  • The Scholarship is subject to satisfactory progress and conduct and the College reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship where either of these is unsatisfactory.
  • The College reserves the right to make no award.
  • Applications for these Scholarships are accepted on the understanding that the decision of the Board of Governors is final and that there is no avenue of appeal.
