Scholarships

Scholarships 2020

Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7 and Year 11 in 2020. The percentage of these scholarships are flexible and will be determined by the College.

Online Applications

Scholarship testing will be conducted on Saturday, 16 February 2019. 

Applications close Monday, 11 February 2019.


Junior Academic Scholarships

Junior Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7

There will be two Junior Scholarships for the remission of a substantial proportion of the tuition fees for Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 (this will be reviewed annually).   A maximum of one scholarship will go to a current Oxley student.

Senior Academic Scholarships

Senior Scholarships are available for students entering Year 11. Two Senior Scholarships for the remission of a substantial proportion of the tuition fees will be available for Year 11 and Year 12 (this will be reviewed annually).

One Senior Scholarship will be awarded to the Oxley College Dux of Year 10. One Senior Scholarship will be awarded to a non-Oxley College student if they are of a standard commensurate with the Oxley College Dux of Year 10.

ACADEMIC scholarships are awarded principally on the results of the Academic Assessment Services Scholarship Testing Programme. Candidates will sit for these tests at the College.

Oxley College is offering online registrations. An interview for short listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships.  The College also requires copies of NAPLAN results and the student’s last two school reports.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Scholarship holder will be expected to participate fully in the life of the College and to exhibit the high standards embodied in its award.
  • The Scholarship offers a remission of tuition fees only. All other fees and charges remain payable.
  • The Scholarship is subject to satisfactory progress and conduct and the College reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship where either of these is unsatisfactory.
  • The College reserves the right to make no award.
  • Applications for these Scholarships are accepted on the understanding that the decision of the Board of Governors is final and that there is no avenue of appeal.
