The College took its name from the famous early Australian explorer, John Oxley, and looks up to the hill named after him. His descendants gave permission for the family crest to be used as the basis of the College badge which incorporates their motto Patientia et Fortitudine—Patience and Fortitude and the College similarly adopted this as its motto.

Sport Update – Friday 24 March @ 1:45pm

Rugby and SHNA Netball matches are all going ahead tomorrow at this stage.

Please note that the 1st XV will now be playing Canberra Grammar School at Oxley College at 12.30pm.

The Div2/3 ISA Rugby trials that were to be held at Chevalier College tomorrow have been cancelled.

Please check the Sport Update in the morning for any cancellations.

Interviews are currently taking place for Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 5 & Year 7, 2018. Please enquire for all year groups. Our next Oxley College open morning is on Friday 2 June 2017 at 11:00am. You are most welcome to join us to see the school on a normal working day. There will be a Q&A session with current students, tours of the classrooms and refreshments.
